The collection documents materials distributed to and generated by the JPL Executive Council, as well as presentations given during Executive Council Retreats, between 1988 and 1998. The collection illustrates the inauguration of such business management practices such as Total Quality Management and Process-Based Management. It also documents a time of downsizing and outsourcing for the Laboratory. Also represented in the collection are correspondence, handwritten notes, Viewgraphs, meeting agendas and minutes.
